First for the Jew and then for the Gentile: 21 Bible verses about The Gospel To Jew And Gentile (knowing-jesus.com)
Why the Jew first and then the Gentile? Let us remember the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve sinned and condemned all of humanity. For the living God of creation loved the world so much, even though sin, death was defeated (John 3:16). With that being said, God established his “office” in Israel and all of the promises that he has for humanity, Jesus Christ (Jewish).
God really never intended for there to be an “office”, but this is how I’ve learned, why the Jew first and then the Gentile. Here is another way to look at paradise; was Adam and Eve Jewish? No. Adam and Eve are the beginning of all creation, from the spirit to the flesh. Another question, would Israel be as important today had Adam and Eve not sinned? No, not one of us would know sin, therefore Christ would not have had to leave his father, to come into the world, in the flesh.
On that mighty and Holy day of judgment, both Jews and Gentiles will give an account for their life on Earth, some with enter into eternal paradise and others into eternal condemnation!
Thank you, God, for your death on the cross, in that all who believe shall be saved, first for the Jew and then for the Gentile. It is by faith alone that we please God, through our fellowship and unity! Who is the best boss, teacher, God of my soul? Jesus Christ. Amen.
In Christ,
Cliff Tompkins
